In the latest episode of “Chashni,” Sumer asked Chandni why Roshni claimed that she had done something similar before. Chandni covered it up by pretending it was a childhood memory and told them not to worry, assuring them that she was fine and would be ready soon for the mehndi ceremony. The music played as the mehndi ceremony began, and Chandni asked Raunaq, the groom, to apply her name in mehndi. Despite his reluctance, Sumer convinced him to do so. However, tension rose between Chandni and Raunaq as they glared at each other.
Later, Roshni applied mehndi on Chandni’s hands. Chandni was happy to see that her mehndi was darker than Roshni’s and believed that it was a sign of love from her mother-in-law. However, during the ceremony, the lights went out, and Chandni was startled to see Raunaq with a knife in his hand in her room. He demanded that they get intimate, but Chandni stood her ground and challenged him to cancel the marriage if he had the guts to do so.
Dadi arrived and encouraged Chandni, reminding her that Sumer and her family were on her side. Meanwhile, Sanjot teased Chandni by mocking her about her new Babbar surname. Chandni had a flashback to when Roshni teased her about her upcoming marriage. In the end, Chandni prepared to talk to Roshni once more before the wedding.
In the upcoming episode, Roshni will help Chandni get ready as the bride. Raunaq will swap his place with Manav, the actual groom.
